I think its about time I updated this thing. I've just been working away. Haven't updated my reel yet, but I have learned lots of fancy new things and lately have been doing a lot of scripting! Heres a few UI pictures of the scripts I have written! All my scripts are written in mel.
This first one isnt all mine. I had to rig quite a few 2d characters in maya and it took quite a lot of mangling our work scripts to get them to work properly. So in an attempt to have my coworkers able to also rig the 2d characters I put together this guy! The running of the arm and leg setups are property of work, but the rest is alll mine!
This one just adds either one, or two controls to anything with any shapenode in that list and sets up the constraints! It also has the option to add a geometry visibility switch and a size attribute to the control. Doing this manually isn't the most complicated, but might as well streamline it!
This one is exactly what it looks like! It takes two joints and sets up a ribbon in between. I need to tweak a few things, but other then that, it definitely comes in handy!
Here is my current project! I am making my own rigging setup script! Right now none of the check boxes work and it only does ik fk switching legs with a reverse foot, but eventually that drop down will include spine and arms and potentially a face setup!
